  if the governing body could turn back time and do a rewrite or change their past teachings what would be their top priority ?.

  would they have to eliminate everything and start again?.

  I remember many years ago reading in the Awake an article which extolled the virtues of the United Nations Organisation plus the fact that there seems to be Watchtower collusion within the UN this to my mind equates the leaders of the Watchtower Society with pimps well it seems like it to me .

  It's time for clarification by the Governing Body come on let's be having some current light on whoring within the UN an in depth study article would be educational.

  When is the Watchtower going to make clear to all those who do not remember Babylon the Great book just who they think the UN is now according to the Bible. What are they afraid of if they have nothing to hide it's part of their history and baggage. Ask them a straight question do they believe the UN is a whore? lets see it in writing.

  many governments are about control and obedience and ultimately utter dependence on it.

  No they were short of a few good books so they joined the UN library and needed a card so they claimed. One of the books they needed was an English lanquage dictionary evidently one or two of the Governing Body members had a dispute as to the true meaning of the word generation and it was affecting their game of Scrabble.

  question: how does the leadership of jehovah's witnesses instruct its members to prepare for the eventual elder care of its members?.

  answer: it pretends it will never happen!.

  If you go to the Jah Jireh web site you will read there that the brothers running the charity are practically begging for donations in order to maintain their care homes simply because the UK authorities have stopped subsidising elderly people in care homes and concentrated on care in a persons home enviroment instead. The effect of tight bank loans is affecting their expansion plans as well.

  The top officials of the Watchtower book publishing company are well and truly protected in old age as long as they carry out company policy and do not rock the boat or start whistle blowing. The vagaries of the rank and file do not affect them so why should they even begin to have empathy with the ordinary Witness. The Governing Body need a taste of their own medicine but I can't see that happening as they will make sure Governing Body first in the life boats everybody else for themselves.

  Another point to consider is the fact that any kind of charity donation other than donations to Brooklyn is severly frowned upon so how come a minority group of UK witnesses can appeal for charity other than through the Watchtower Society I mean why stop at care homes why not a seperate witness food aid programme or employment opportunities etc. the list is endless.

  Terry you've done it again and put it in a nutshell well said if only those Witnesses rank and and file and their blind leaders at the top would only wake up from their stupor maybe they would contribute some good in the World .

  Brother Knorr's office 1956 ; knock, knock , "come in Brother Steadfast now what's this I hear about you going around telling the brothers and sisters that they won't be in the New World by 2012 don't you realise you are false prophet and that Jehovah's organisation will have to disfellowship you at once. Pack up your things and go don't you know we are the only true prophets around here.

  It made me want to run in front of them and click my fingers to wake them out of their hypnotic spell.

  It made me think of the saying about the inmates having taken over the assylum.

  As one Jehovahs Witness said to me just last week "we are not interested in money." However we know the truth it's a publishing business run by slave labour, capitalists love it.

  Money money money it's a rich mans world ah! ah!

  It's against the public interest to prosecute the G.B. don't forget.-------------------------- Reason, top draw investors.

  I think they should put a new slogan on the Watchtower masthead "Contribute for we are no part of the World"

  in 1517, martin luther wrote in a letter to archbishop albert of mainz: you must graciously forgive that i, that scum of the earth, am so bold as to dare to address a letter to you.. yes, i know, you think of me as scum, just like mainz believed of luther, wondering how i dare write you a letter, someone jehovahs witnesses disfellowshipped back in 2002. i was accused of being an unrepentant sinner and condemned for causing divisions, then labeled apostate because i spoke out publicly on nbcs dateline tv program aboutthe child sexual abuse policies that protected pedophiles policies that you helped formulate.

  Thank you Barbara for sending that excellent letter into the Society and more importantly for letting a wider audience read it because even if it just gets filed away at headquaters it is now available to millions. Millions who can learn and formulate an opinion about just how nasty, wrong, unchristian and harmful the Watchtower Society is.

  Barbara please keep firing those flaming arrows some will hit their target and the flame of honesty and justice will spread.
